Biography
Michelle practices exclusively in the areas of personal injury and wrongful death and has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families who have suffered serious injuries or the loss of a loved one. She focuses her practice on auto, trucking and motorcycle accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, defective products, medical malpractice and other complex injury cases.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri, Michelle graduated from Southern Illinois University (B.A. 1992) and the University of Missouri-Columbia (J.D. 1997). While in law school, Michelle was the Associate Editor-In-Chief of the Missouri Law Review and a member of The Board of Advocates and Phi Delta Phi. In addition, she was named to the Dean's list every semester and the recipient of the Roscoe Anderson Award and Missouri Law Review Alumni Scholarship.
Michelle was named a "2004 Up & Coming Lawyer" by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. In 2006, she was given The Missouri Bar Foundation's David J. Dixon Appellate Advocacy Award for "outstanding achievement in appellate practice."
Michelle has an AV Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell law directory, which is the highest given. She was also named a "Super Lawyer" (among the top 5% of lawyers in Missouri and Kansas) by Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of Personal Injury law
Michelle is married to Pat O'Neal and is the mother of four children.
